| Description |
BlueO2 is a blue carbon initiative. A blue carbon approach monetizes the ecological value of mangroves, seagrasses and wetlands in terms of CO2 offsetting market value (carbon credits). These carbon credits can be traded on the CO2 market. Apart from a current project in Madagascar to implement blue carbon credits, we are currently developing a project at Spanish Lagoon in Aruba, which offers great potential for a blue carbon approach. |
